CorasWorks Acquires Bizbox Software to Accelerate Integration of Outlook and SharePoint

CorasWorks Corporation today announced that it has acquired the software and people of Bizbox Software, a leading developer of Outlook technology and web parts based in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The acquisition is a key step in Corasworks' product roadmap to provide a completely integrated workplace for users of SharePoint.  By joining this technology with the CorasWorks Workplace users will be able to have Outlook functionality within SharePoint and they will be able to replicate information from across the SharePoint environment into Outlook for use when they are offline.

My Workplace for Outlook is the first CorasWorks product based on the Bizbox Software Outlook web parts technology.  The product, currently available in Version 1, allows workplace users to run Outlook functionality within their existing SharePoint workplace, effectively giving users full Outlook functionality through SharePoint. In addition, users are able to automatically replicate all their Tasks within SharePoint into Outlook, thus providing Reminders through Outlook and offline access to all SharePoint Tasks.
